Like I said, I love a good challenge. I like to create silly goals for myself for no reason other than to break the monotony of everyday life.
For instance, for Lent I gave up all meat. And i don't eat seafood - of any kind. yea yea bring on the "not even shrimp?", "but you're from rhode island" comments/questions...i don't eat it, just don't like it. the end. Tougher than I expected, but I did it. Am i going to be a vegetarian now? Heck no, although i have a new found respect for how difficult it is to find things to eat at lunch (other than salad). Plus i ate new foods that i never would've tried before, so that was an added bonus.
But with that goal wrapping up, i needed to think up something new to keep me busy...
So I decided on a challenge that helps 'justify' one of my favorite pastimes...SHOES! I am obsessed with buying new shoes!! Borderline A&E Intervention obsessed. I have over 65 pairs, which i know is not a lot for everyone, but i am aware that it's too many. And i don't plan on stopping anytime soon...how else will i keep up my DSW premiere rewards status?! sheesh! :)
For the next 30 days I'm going to wear a different pair of shoes from my collection...doesn't seem too hard but there are the favorites that just beg to be worn every week. they're have to just sit in the back of the closet and cry until everyone gets their fair wearing-time!
